The United States needs to do more than write letters. Brazil knows
that David Goldman wants his son returned to him. They have known
that for almost 5 years. President Obama needs to step in and use
his power. Being a great father himself he knows how to love his
children. All you have to do is watch one video of David and Sean
and you could see the bond of love. There should be more parents
like David Goldman. They are ignoring all the laws and Mr. Goldman’s biological parental rights to his son. This is a disgrace. His step father needs to take care of his baby girl and
return Sean to David. That is the right thing to do. Honestly I don’t know how they sleep at night.

Alan: don’t make comparisons between countries. Every country has good things and bad things. You talk about US respect about Human rights and International Treaty??? What about Irak???? do you have amnesia? I think you might need a psicological assitance do deal with your nationality insecurity. There cannot possibly be any argument against Sean Goldeman going back to the care of his father David, unless there is evidence of abuse or mistreatment in the past. This can never become a US vs. Brazil thing, this is ridiculous. By the way, in two years Sean will be 18, so he can go back volutarily to Rio if he wants, which is a much, much, much nicer place than New Jersey….cheers!

Unfortunately, i was born there in brazil.
All i can tell you is I LOVE AMERICA, because there, such as many other countries around the world, the disrespect about Human Rights and International Treaty come from the Authorities and everyone think “it’s normal”.
That’s reason i love so much my true country, USA.
