The Weather in Brazil
In general, the weather in Brazil is warm and friendly rarely does any part of the country experience extreme conditions. Visitors from North America and Europe come here to escape their harsh winters.
The Brazilian Coastline:
A major part of the Brazilian population resides along the Country’s coastline off the Atlantic Ocean. A number of major cities including Rio, Vitoria, Salvador, Santos, Recife and Sao Luis are located along the country’s coast. Here the weather is typically tropical with warm, humid and some rainfall.
The Southern parts of the country experience the coldest weather with a defined winter between mid June and September, though temperatures are never anywhere near the extremes.
The north and north-east regions are the hottest in the country with temperatures averaging between 25 and 30 degrees. There is also less rainfall here, though the exception is the Amazon ecosystem which does experience a large amount of rainfall
